Unique Wedding Favor Ideas: Personalized Photo Keychains

Wedding favors have a reputation problem. Many of them end up left on the tables at the end of the night. The favors guests do take home tend to have one thing in common: they are personal.

That is the idea behind photo keychains. Instead of a generic gift, each guest walks away with a keychain made from their own photo booth picture, taken at your wedding, in your template. It is entertainment and a party favor in one.

How the keychain station works

  1. Guests take their photos at the booth, just as they normally would.
  2. Our attendant prints and assembles the photo into a keychain at a styled keychain bar.
  3. Guests take it home — clipped to their keys, their bag, or a wristlet.

Watching the keychains being made is part of the fun. The station becomes a little gathering spot of its own, and guests often come back for a second one with a different group of friends.

What is included

Our Luxe Photo Keychain station includes:

  • A styled keychain bar that matches the look of the booth
  • A dedicated keychain attendant, so the photo booth line keeps moving
  • Circle or mini photo-strip keychains
  • A leather or pearl wristlet
  • Extra prints for each session

Custom keychain designs are available on request.

Why couples love photo keychains as favors

They are personal by design

Every keychain has your guests' faces and your wedding details on it. It is impossible for a favor to feel more personal than that.

They double as entertainment

Favors are usually set out and forgotten. A keychain station is an activity — guests pose, wait, watch, and show off the result to their table.

They get used

A keychain goes on a set of car keys or a bag and gets seen every day. Long after the wedding, it is a small reminder of a great night.

Ideas for making the most of your keychain station

  • Coordinate the wristlets with your palette. Pearl wristlets suit classic, romantic weddings; leather fits rustic and modern styles.
  • Place it near the booth. Guests naturally move from the photo booth to the keychain bar.
  • Mention it at the reception. A quick announcement from your DJ or emcee makes sure no one misses it.
  • Use it beyond weddings. Keychains are also a hit at quinceañeras, sweet sixteens, showers and milestone birthdays. See our quinceañera photo booth ideas.
